Does this system start -Does the VGA LED stay on Just to be clear on one thing, if you have Ultra Fast Boot enabled, change to Fast. It would also explain why the first screen you see is the windows log in screen. EFI (default) is what you want, but the card being as old as it is and with no FW update might be the cause. If you purchase a new or different card, be sure to change this setting back to EFI. See if there is a FW update for your specific card The 670 should be EFI compliant, but I cannot confirm this. BIOS had never been updated and was v80.04.19.0.70, so Ive updated it to v80.04.5C.0.70, which I believe is the latest. Fault not resolved. The system wasnt booting straight to the Windows login screen because of Fast Boot. With the GTX 670 in the system it wasnt even possible to access the BIOS, even when attempting to access the BIOS by holding SHIFT while clicking RESTART and then opting to change the UEFI settings. It seems that skipping to the Windows login screen is related to the fault with the GTX 670.
